This past week has been a roller-coaster of sorts. I'm not really up for discussing everything right now, but everything has worked out. The point of my bringing this up is that I realized how many amazing people I have, what a great support system my friends are. I was kidnapped by a friend and taken out for sushi on a sad evening, surprised with a thoughtful gift and loads of emails from Kate, the recipient of plenty of hard work from my academic adviser, my campus job's boss (Monica, if you're reading this, you rock) and director (Roy, you too).. really just loads of people who went above and beyond in my time of need and who helped me to ensure that my future is indeed secure. It's a nice feeling to realize you're loved and that you matter, and even more-so that people are so willing to help.
I'm incredibly grateful, humbled by all of this, and enthusiastic towards what my future holds. :)

Such a pretty dress, I love the collar detailing! Sorry to hear about your roller-coaster kind of week, just remember that everyone has days like that now and again :) I'm glad you're happier now though!

I'm really jealous and glad same time, that you have such wonderful friends. I don't have any, yeah. I know it's very weird, but you know, I have own story and it's fucked up. So, yeah. I'm jealous but it's very positive :) Don't feel offend:)

You look so lovely and so classic! The bandana looks amazing on you, especially paired with those sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Katie in that I'm glad for you, but also envious. I've recently moved to a new city for university, and I'm so lonely here and haven't clicked with anyone at all. I feel so melancholy and unloved and friendless :(
Cool outfit! Glad you've cheered up :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been a bit since I've been back to blogging... again! I just wanted to stop by and say "hi" and tell you that your outfit is absolutely lovely! I LOVE those polka dots and that peter pan type collar - one of the most adorable dresses that I've seen!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you had a rough week, but I am really glad to hear that there were lots of people there for you and that it's getting better! :-)
